STANDARD INCLUSIONS
Pedestrian Lid
Tank comes with a PE double walled pedestrian lid. If placing the tank under a trafficable area, a car lid and extension riser is required at an additional cost.
Tank is sold on its own as is, no pipes or filter included.
PLACING YOUR TANK UNDER A DRIVEWAY
If placing tank under a driveway, a trafficable/car lid and riser (dome shaft) is required.
The GARANTIA Li-Lo Rainwater Underground Tank with the cast iron cover (Class B) and cement support ring are suitable for installation in light traffic areas (max. total load 3.5 ton).
The tanks are not to be installed in areas where heavy goods vehicles are driven.
The areas driven by light traffic must have a compacted earth covering of not less than 700 mm (27.6 inch) and a maximum of 1000 mm (39.4 inch).
Under no circumstances is the load caused by vehicles to be transferred to the tank

SITE PREPARATION AND INSTALLATION INFORMATION
Under all circumstances, the following points must be clarified prior to installation:
- The structural suitability of the ground according to DIN 18196
- Maximum groundwater levels which occur and drainage capability of the subsoil
- Types of load which occur, e.g. traffic loads
An expert ground report should be requested from the local planning authority to determine the physical characteristics of the subsoil.

UNDERGROUND WATER RETENTION AND DETENTION APPLICATIONS
Underground Water Retention (Storage)
- Connected to a sites downpipes.
- Water is re-directed, filtered and stored.
- This water is then re-used via pumps to supply free water to washing machines, toilets and for irrigation purposes.

Underground Water Detention (Slow Release)
A detention tank is required by many councils and local authorities to capture and hold rainwater on the property and then slowly release it back into the storm water system to ensure flash flooding of storm water drains does not occur. The Lilo provides the following benefits:
- Designed to meet councils requirements to “hold back” a certain amount of water – slowly releasing it into the storm water mains.
- Tanks can be fitted to utilize the full volume for Detention purposes or create a combination of Retention/Detention.
